The underground metro is an efficient network of color-coded lines tailored for transportation to the city’s most popular neighborhoods and attractions. If you’ll be using public transport for more than 5 rides, the Hola Barcelona Travel Card is highly recommended. Take advantage of unlimited rides on the metro, bus, tram and railways for consecutive periods of 2-5 days, depending on what you purchase. Travel cards can be purchased at ticket machines inside any metro station.

Many landmarks and points of interest lie within close proximity of each other, making multiple areas of the city walkable. Be sure to pack a comfortable pair of tennis shoes.
